Documents drafted by licensed estate attorneys
What you get

Three documents. One complete plan.

Steward builds your plan around the three core documents estate attorneys typically charge $1,500–$3,000 to draft — each carrying the specific protections your family needs, generated to your state's requirements and ready to sign.

Last Will & Testament
Who receives what, who carries it out, and in what order — written to your state's signing and witnessing rules.
Built into your will :
Guardianship nominations - who raises your children if you can't, and a backup, so a court never has to guess.
Testamentary Trust Provisions - their inheritance held until ages you set, not handed to an 18-year old.
Personal Property Memorandum - the ring, the truck, the guitar; update the list any time without rewriting your will.
Advance Directive
Your medical wishes, in writing — and the legal authority for the people you trust to act on them.
built into your directive :
Living Will - your wishes for care and life support, so no one you love has to guess.
Healthcare Power of Attorney - who makes medical decisions if you can't make them yourself.
HIPAA Release - legal access to your medical information; without it, hospitals can refuse to say anything.
Durable Financial Power of Attorney
Someone you trust can step in on the practical side of life if you're unable to. Without it, that takes a court order.
what it covers :
Banking & Bills - accounts stay paid and managed without interruption
Property & Obligations - the mortgage, the car, the paperwork of life.
How it works

One plain-English question per screen.

Making your will online shouldn't feel like a law exam. You see a summary before anything is final, and you can stop and come back any time.

The Honest Part

Pay once. Then nothing, forever.

Most online estate plans charge again every year to keep your documents current. Steward doesn't. Move states, have another child, change your mind at 2am. Regenerate your documents free, for as long as you have them.

We also don't sell Trusts. Most American families need a Will, not a Trust, and we'll tell you if your situation needs an attorney before you pay us, not after.

"I heard about your service on a podcast, and it sounded less intimidating than going to a lawyer. It really couldn't have been easier. Now it's a huge burden lifted to know that my daughter will be taken care of according to my wishes."

If Steward isn't right for you, we'll make it right. Get started, and if you realize your situation needs more than we offer, tell us — we'll refund you in full and help you find an estate attorney in your area. No forms, no phone tree. Just reply to your receipt.

Before you start.

Find answers to the most common questions about creating your will online with Steward.

How do I use the Daily Caller code?

Start your plan. After a few quick questions you'll choose Individual or Married. Enter ORTHODOXY in the promo code field on that screen. Your 10% discount shows before you pay.

What happens if I die without a will?

Your state's intestacy laws decide how your estate is distributed, and who raises your children if they're minors. Those laws don't know your wishes, your relationships, or your family structure.

Are my documents legally valid after I download them?

Not until they're signed. Your documents must be properly signed, witnessed, and, for the Financial Power of Attorney, notarized according to your state's rules. Steward gives you state-specific signing instructions.

Is Steward a law firm?

No. Steward is a software platform that helps you complete your own attorney-built, state-specific documents. We can't give legal advice. If your situation is complex, we'll tell you to see an attorney before you pay us.

Why don't you offer Living Trusts?

On purpose. Most American families need a Will, not a Trust. A Living Trust costs more, takes longer, and only works if you retitle every asset into it. If you truly need one, your family deserves an attorney, not a checkout page.
