The practical details

Have a larger hospital program or multiple locations?
Is this only for married parents?
No. A single parent receives an individual package. Married parents receive two separate estate plans, one for each spouse. Families complete their own documents.
What counts toward our allowance?
A new family activation through your partner benefit counts once, whether it is an individual or married-family package. Twins count as one family. Document updates do not use another allowance. Allowances reset each billing month; unused places do not roll over.
Do families lose access if we cancel?
Families who already activated keep their documents and free updates for life. New activations through your sponsored benefit stop when your paid term ends.
Does my team need to give legal advice?
No. Your team shares the benefit. Steward supports the platform; families make their own decisions. Steward is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Families needing individual legal guidance should speak with an estate planning attorney.
Are the documents finished when downloaded?
Parents must follow the applicable signing, witnessing, and notarization instructions. Generating a document is a step in the process, not a substitute for proper execution.
How does annual billing work?
Pay upfront for 12 months at the listed annual price. Annual plans renew automatically each year; cancel before your next renewal. Your monthly family allowance stays the same. Annual prepayments are nonrefundable except where required by law. Monthly plans have no 12-month commitment.
